Job Description

Kavaleer Productions are looking for a Lead Animator, Adobe Animate Animators and Trainee Animators for a cool new kids show.

This is a fixed-term contract and they are looking for applicants living in the Rep. of Ireland. Applicants under consideration will be required to complete an animation test before final selection.

• Team 1: Starting 18th May
• Team 2: Starting 1st June
• Team 3: Starting 8th June

The function of the Animation Team is to work with the Animation Director and Assitant Animation Director to ensure the highest level possible of animation throughout the production under the direction of the Offshore Director.

Animators:

Applicants that have demonstrated working in 2D animation production with good time management skills and ability to work within deadlines.

Trainee Animators:

Must have demonstrated knowledge of the principles of 2D animation and a keen interest for learning more about the production process

Lead Animator:

Applicants that have a minimum of 3-5 years working experience in 2D animation production, or currently working as a Lead Animator. Must have good time management skills and the ability to work within deadlines.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of 2D animation (Trainee)
• A keen interest in learning more about the production process. (Trainee)
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead or Animator in episodic TV series
• Experience in Adobe Animate is essential. (All roles)
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work with a fast-paced series production schedule.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes within a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail is critical.
