DogHead Animation is seeking talented 2D Layout Posing Artists and 2D Paperless Animators to join the renowned and incredible HAZBIN HOTEL SEASON 2 series!
About the job:
We’re looking for freelancers/self-employed artists of any seniority level who can start immediately.
You have the flexibility to work remotely or from our studio on a 3-5 months contract depending on the role: apply immediately!
Candidates must have Italian residency. European Union-based applications will also be considered.
Open Positions:
1. 2D LAYOUT POSING ARTIST
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and perspective
- Excellent knowledge of paperless animation techniques
- Ability to create posing with pre-assisted and “on model” rough
Responsibilities:
- Draw paperless poses and animate paperless scenes in Toon Boon Harmony within set deadlines under the supervision of the Animation Director and Assistant
2. PAPERLESS ANIMATOR:
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and perspective
- Excellent knowledge animation principles and techniques
- Ability to create animations with pre-assisted and “on model” rough
Responsibilities:
- Animate Paperless scenes in Toon Boon Harmony within set deadlines under the supervision of the Animation Director and Assistant
Requirements
- Overall Requirements:
- A showreel demonstrating excellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony
- Italian residency preferred; EU candidates will be considered
- For Italy-based applicants: an active VAT number
- For non-Italian candidates: residence in a European country with a bilateral agreement with Italy to avoid double taxation (if selected, a valid Tax Residence Certificate will be required).
- Ability to adapt to the required graphic style
- Ability to adapt to the studio pipeline and work effectively both independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail and precision in your work
- Excellent time management skills with the utmost respect for deadlines and quality standard of the project
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to share information in a team environment.
- We do not accept applications without portfolio or showreel and from candidates who are new to the TB Harmony software.
