Me, The Family Pet? Productions are seeking a talented freelance artist to create short animations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong artistic style, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Animation Production:
- Create one 20-30 second animation per week, bringing their characters and stories to life through motion and visual effects.
- Utilize animation software to animate characters, backgrounds, and special effects with attention to detail and timing.
Social Media Posts:
- Conceptualize and design social media posts across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) to promote their comics and animations.
- Develop visually compelling short videos that engage our audience and drive traffic to their content.
Style Consistency:
- Maintain consistency in artistic style, match current artistic style, and tone across all projects to reinforce the brand identity and storytelling aesthetic.

Requirements
- Experience with 2D animation software (Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony) and techniques such as rigging, keyframing, and tweening.
- Ability to match lip sync
- Proficient in character and environment design.
- Demonstrated ability to create dynamic and expressive characters with a strong sense of personality and emotion.
- Strong creative vision and animation-related storytelling abilities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently to meet weekly deadlines.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing previous work in 2D animation.
- Samples demonstrating proficiency in various art styles and techniques are highly encouraged.
- Clear and responsive communication skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
- Preferred Qualification: Flexibility to adapt artistic style and approach based on project requirements and audience preferences is required.
- Preferred Qualification: Prior experience creating content for digital media platforms is desired.
- Preferred Qualification: Familiarity with popular trends and techniques in comic art, animation, and social media marketing is desired.
