They’re seeking a talented, (contract) Junior Generalist/2D Animator 🎨 (must be comfortable BOTH animating + illustrating) 🖌️ to join the team.
***Please note they can only hire a US Citizen for this role, based in the US*****
The candidate will help create 2D short, 2D animated minisodes, alongside 2D characters and backgrounds, to help develop engaging and captivating content on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
2D:
- Produce high-quality designs per week, adhering to established style and themes, whilst taking direction from our art director, and the ability to make quick edits.
- Develop engaging characters, settings, props, backgrounds and narratives that resonate with our young audience.
- Create 1x, 5 sec animated minisode per week, bringing our character and stories to life through motion and visual effects. Delivery must be suitable for TikTok, 9:16.
- Utilize animation software to animate characters, draw backgrounds, characters, props and if necessary special effects with attention to detail and timing.
Style Consistency:
Maintain, match and perform consistency in an established artistic style and tone across all projects to reinforce our brand identity and storytelling aesthetic.

Requirements
- Samples demonstrating proficiency in various 2D art styles and techniques are highly encouraged.
- Proficient in digital illustration, character design, and 2D animation
- Demonstrated ability to create dynamic and expressive characters with a strong sense of personality and emotion.
- Experience with animation software (e.g., Procreate Dreams, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony) and techniques such as rigging, keyframing, and tweening.
- Editing skills are extremely helpful.
- Sound engineering skills are a plus but not necessary.
- Prior experience creating content for digital media platforms is desired.
- Familiarity with popular trends and techniques in animation and social media marketing is desired.
- Comfortable with working in fast-paced, remote environments whilst adhering to an EST time zone.
- Able to communicate regularly, efficiently and quickly in a remote environment
- Able to begin work immediately
