Job Description
Spud Gun Studios are hiring for a Sci-Fi/Action Anime project with hand drawn animation for an exciting new project. The artistic style and look is heavily influenced by golden age anime and is 2D.
They are looking for people to fulfil the following roles:
👉 Key & Rough Animators
👉 Clean & Colour Animators
👉 Background Artists (comfortable and confident with high detail matte painted BG’s)
👉 Character Designers (comfortable with detailed sci fi style characters)
Preferred Software for animators is TVpaint but not essential to join the project and have your application reviewed.
Candidates should have strong knowledge & experience of working on 2D anime projects (even better if sci-fi) and be able to provide examples of their work for review when applying. They should also be comfortable and confident working within a team, communicating effectively and adhering to deadlines.
These roles are remote. They are based in the UK so you would need to be able to communicate with the directors within some UK working hours.

Requirements
- Demo Reel/ portfolio showing off your skills.
- Strong knowledge & experience of working on 2D anime projects (even better if sci-fi) and able to provide examples of this in your work.
- Experience using 2d animation software, preferably TVpaint.
- Able to communicate within UK working hours.
