Job Description
Telegael is seeking a Moho Animator to join their team on a full-time, fully remote basis for a 2-month contract, with an immediate start date.
The successful candidate will create high-quality character and prop animations in Moho, following established style guides and production pipelines. The animator will interpret storyboards and animatics, refine timing and motion, and ensure shots meet narrative, visual, and technical requirements.
Daily tasks will include collaborating with directors and leads, integrating motion graphics or motion capture elements where required, and preparing files for compositing and post-production. The animator will participate in review sessions, respond constructively to feedback, and consistently meet production deadlines.
This is a fully remote position. Applicants must be resident in Ireland for the duration of the contract. The successful candidate must have access to their own appropriate computer hardware, software, and reliable internet connection necessary to carry out the role effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong animation skills, with proficiency in Moho and experience in 2D character animation.
- Ability to interpret and develop storyboarding materials into clear, engaging animated sequences.
- Experience with motion graphics and integration of animated elements into broader visual designs.
- Familiarity with motion capture workflows and incorporating captured data into animated performances.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with directors, supervisors, and team members remotely.
- Previous studio or production experience in animation for television or streaming content.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, acting, and staging.
- Ability to work independently in a remote production environment and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Resident in Ireland and available to work remotely for the duration of the contract.
- Own appropriate hardware, software, and reliable internet connection suitable for professional animation production.
- Relevant qualification in animation, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Available to start immediately.
