Job Description

Spud Gun Studios is hiring for several exciting indie 2D animation projects to be published on their Mashed channel. The focus is on expressive and dynamic character animation while maintaining efficiency.

They are looking for people to fulfil the following roles:

👉 Rough Animators
👉 Clean Up Artists
👉 Colour Artists
👉 Background Artists
👉 Character Designers (Who can create simple yet striking designs)

Being able to use either Animate or Clip Studio Paint is essential. Applicants lacking experience with either software will not be considered. These roles are remote. They are based in the UK so you would need to be able to communicate with the directors within some UK working hours.

Candidates should have strong experience and a track record of working on animated projects that are similar to content published on mashed within the last 2-3 years. The candidate should be able to provide showreels with examples of their work for them to review. They should also be comfortable and confident working within a team, communicating effectively and adhering to deadlines. Some references for look and style are below:

Requirements
